Almond and Rose Kheer –

Kheer is one of the most important traditional dishes during festivals and celebrations. And now, it can be enjoyed with a twist with this amazing recipe. The flavor of almond and rose will surely enhance the fragrance and taste, both.

Nutritional benefits –
This kheer recipe has high nutrient value as it has ingredients with startling benefits. Rose petals have rich antioxidant properties, great for skin and immunity. Also, they aid in reducing inflammation in the body. Almonds are rich in Vitamin E, fiber, and antioxidants and help in bone-building too.

Ingredients –

  • 300 ml milk
  • 2 Tbsp. of Rice
  • 1 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 2 Drops of Rosewater
  • 1 Tbsp. Dried Rose Petals
  • 20 Grams Almonds

Method –

  • 1. Soak rice for 30 minutes.
  • 2. Heat a pan, add milk for boiling on a fast flame until one boils and then keep it on simmer.
  • 3. add soaked rice to it and let it cook until they turn soft.
  • 4. Add Almonds and cook the milk until the consistency becomes thick. Then add sugar.
  • 5. Keep the kheer aside until it cools down. Then add drops of rose water, mix well and refrigerate it.
  • 6. Dry roast almond slicer in a pan. Before serving garnish kheer with rose petal and almond slivers.
