Wondering what to eat to curb your evening cravings? Worry not as we bring here for you the simple and easiest recipe named Vegetarian Chilli. Made with the goodness of vegetables it is a healthy recipe which can be added at any point of time especially in the evenings to relish your tea time.

Nutritional Benefits:

Tomatoes are an excellent source of antioxidant lycopene which reduces the risk of cancer and heart diseases. They are also rich in vitamin C, potassium and Folate. Couscous helps in boosting your immune system. It is a healthy alternative to pasta which makes it a low-calorie food with a good amount of fibre.


  • 20 grams tomatoes (chopped)
  • 10 grams black beans (boiled)
  • 10 grams kidney beans (boiled)
  • 10 grams couscous (boiled)
  • 20 grams onion (chopped)
  • 20 grams bell peppers (chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon cilantro leaves
  • Salt & pepper as per taste

  • Firstly, in a cooker combine all the ingredients except couscous and spices. Cover and cook on a low flame for 10 minutes.
  • Then add couscous and cook until its tender.
  • Now before serving, add all the spices and season with salt, pepper & cilantro leaves.
  • Serve.
