Jowar khichu is a wholesome breakfast meal loaded with nutrition which satisfies your taste buds and also is an ideal meal for your fast days.
Nutritional benefits –
Jowar is an ingredient which is highly rich in its fiber and antioxidant content. Thus it aids proper digestion in your body and also it is gluten free thus is said to be good for patients with gluten intolerance.
- 20 grams Jowar
- 20 grams of curd
- ½ teaspoon Sesame seeds
- 1-2 Green chilies chopped
- Finally chopped ginger
- Salt and pepper as per taste
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
- Pinch of baking soda
- 5 grams oil
- Fresh coriander for garnishing

- Heat oil in a pan and add Seasme seeds, chilies, ginger, salt and pepper as per taste and sautee till they change color.
- Then add curd and ½ cup of water into it.
- Add Jowar, pinch of baking soda and stir continuously to ensure that no lumps are formed.
- Add lime juice and serve hot garnished with fresh coriander
