Lemony Yogurt Cake

Delicious lemony yogurt cake is heart-healthy and protein-rich. The texture of the cake is very classic and is a perfect snack to munch on along with the tea to curb sugar cravings.
Nutritional benefits:
Yogurt is a good source of protein, calcium, and good live bacteria which are beneficial for gut health. It is good for weight management and the immune system. Lemon is rich in vitamin C that boosts immunity and helps in blood pressure.
Ingredients:
- 15 grams wheat flour
- 2 dates
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon of finely grated lemon zest
- 15 grams yogurt
- 10ml milk
- ½ teaspoon olive oil
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg white

Method:
- Start by preheating the oven at around 350º F. On the other side, take a baking pan, grease it and keep it aside.
- Take a small bowl and whisk wheat flour along with baking soda, grated dates, and lemon zest.
- Then add in the yogurt, vanilla extract, egg white, milk, olive oil and whisk it vigorously until it is blended well.
- Transfer the prepared batter to the baking pan and bake for about 45 minutes.
- Let it cool and serve along with icing sugar if required.
