Warm Vegetable Grain Salad

Warm vegetable Grain salad is an amazing salad made with Jowar grain and vegetables with spicy pepper and lime dressing. This recipe is inclusive of colorful vegetables to fill you up with ample fiber and other nutrients.
Nutritional benefits –
Jowar is an ingredient which is highly rich in its fiber and antioxidant content. Thus it aids proper digestion in your body and also it is gluten free thus is said to be good for patients with gluten intolerance. Whereas tomatoes are a great source of antioxidant lycopene which reduces the risk of cancer and heart diseases. It is also rich in vitamin C, potassium and Folate.
Ingredients –
- 20 grams Jowar
- 20 grams onions
- 20 grams tomato
- 20 grams cucumber
- 5 grams olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Lime juice
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- Spring of coriander leaves
- Salt and pepper as per taste

Method –
- 1. Firstly pressure cook Jowar grains with 1 cup water until it becomes soft.
- 2. Then take a large salad bowl and cooked jowar grains, finely chopped onions, tomato, and cucumber into it.
- 3. Make salad dressing by whisking together the olive oil, oregano, lime juice, cumin powder, salt and black pepper.
- 4. Pour the dressing over salad and toss well before serving.
