Soybean Idli

This recipe of idli involves soybean along with rice and urad dal- which makes the whole recipe enriched with good protein.

- 80 gms White Urad Dal
- ½ tsp Fenugreek Seeds
- 100 gms rice
- 1 tsp Chana Dal
- Salt as per taste

Method
- Firstly, soak dal, rice and soybean separately in bowls.
- Add methi seeds and chana dal together in the bowl of urad dal.
- Soak the rice for at least 5-6 hours.
- Once soaked, grind all the ingredients together into a thick and consistent paste.
- Add a little bit of water and grind again.
- Add the salt and stir well to combine. Cover the bowl and ferment the Batter for at least 6 hours or overnight.
- Once fermented, mix again. Steam in an idli steamer and serve hot with sambar and nariyal ki chutney alongside.
