Bran-Date Muffin

Bran and date muffins are an easy addition to the kid’s lunch boxes. They are delicious, easy to prepare, and very healthy and are a great alternative for sweet cravings.
Nutritional Benefits:
Dates are very nutritious and are a healthy alternative for sugar cravings. They are high in fiber and help in relieving constipation. They help in reducing cholesterol.
Ingredients:
- 40 grams egg
- 1 teaspoon of oil
- 20 grams yogurt
- 10ml of milk
- 2-3 dates
- 1/4th teaspoon of cinnamon
- 15 grams wheat flour
- 10 grams bran flakes

Method:
- Start by preheating the oven around 180 º C.
- Grease muffin tray with some oil.
- Take a small bowl and add in the eggs, oil, yogurt, and date and mix well
- Take another bowl and add in the bran flakes and flour and mix well.
- Add in all the ingredients together and spoon the mixture into the tray.
- Let it bake for about 15 minutes and then turn it off to cool down.
- Store the muffins and serve them with some tea.
