Swiss Chard and Lentil Soup

Introducing our delicious Swiss Chard and Lentil Soup! Packed with nutritious ingredients and bursting with flavors, this hearty soup is a perfect choice for a wholesome meal. 

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups chopped Swiss chard
  • 1 cup cooked lentils
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 medium carrots, diced
  • 2 celery stalks, diced
  • 4 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions :

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add diced onion and minced garlic to the pot and sauté for about 2-3 minutes until they become translucent.
  3. Add diced carrots and diced celery to the pot and sauté for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Stir in the chopped Swiss chard and cooked lentils.
  5. Pour in the vegetable broth and add dried thyme.
  6. Bring the soup to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and let it simmer for about 20-25 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve the hot Swiss chard and lentil soup, and enjoy its comforting and nutritious flavors.
