Sesame Jaggery Ladoo

Desserts are inviting and have the power to make us happy. And in times of stress, a little bit of sweets can go a long way to bring some solace. Ladoos are a delight and this sesame jaggery ladoo is an easy to make recipe with just two ingredients.

NUTRITIONAL BENEFITS:
Sesame seeds are a good source of dietary protein, with high-quality amino acids making up 20% of the seeds. It is also rich in essential minerals such as copper, magnesium and calcium.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 tablespoon  white sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoon (30 grams) jaggery powder
  • 1 teaspoon ghee- optional

METHOD:

  • First, dry roast the sesame seeds in a pan until it pops.
  • Cool down and powder it in a mixer
  • Now, melt jaggery in a saucepan. Combine powdered sesame seeds. You can add some ghee for extra softness.
  • Roll tightly and make ladoos out of it.
