Classic Fruit Mix

Classic Fruit Mix is a thick and relishing yet nutritious dessert that is enriched with the blend and goodness of fruits. It is a perfect dessert to curb your sugar cravings with the easily available ingredients at the summer time.

Nutritional benefits –
Blueberries are low in calories and high in antioxidant and vitamin C content. Banana is rich in potassium and manganese. It also contains serotonin which helps to manage stress and ease mood swings. Strawberries are a rich source of Vitamin C and fibre.

Ingredients –

  • ½ cup lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon coconut sugar
  • ½ teaspoon grated lemon zest
  • ½ teaspoon grated orange zest
  • 10 grams pineapple
  • 10 grams strawberries
  • 10 grams kiwi
  • 10 grams banana
  • 10 grams blueberries
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla essence

Method –

  • Firstly, bring lemon juice, coconut sugar, orange zest, and lemon zest to a boil in a pan over medium to high heat.
  • Now, reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer until it is thickened for about 5 minutes.
  • Then remove from heat, and stir in vanilla extract. Set aside to cool.
  • Lastly, layer the fruits in a bowl and pour the cooled sauce over the fruits.
  • Refrigerate for 3-4 hours before serving.
