Zesty Salmon with Spinach

Salmon is one dish that is enjoyed by most of the people. Salmon marinated with lime juice is one recipe with a twist to ordinary salmon. It is made in a special way to provide you with amazing taste and ample benefits.

Salmon is well known for having heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3s help prevents the build-up of plaque in your arteries, which in turn improves blood flow throughout the body. Spinach is an excellent source of Vitamin A, Vitamin K, Vitamin C and folate. It is also a fair source of manganese, magnesium, iron and vitamin B2.
Ingredients:
- 50 grams salmon fillet
- 20 grams spinach
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt as per taste
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon chopped cilantro

Method:
- Firstly, preheat the oven and arrange the rack such that salmon when placed, will be 2 to 3 inches below heat source.
- Then, line a baking sheet with foil and lay salmon on the foil. Roast it until the salmon is starting to brown for 5-8 minutes.
- Meanwhile take a sauce pan and cook finely chopped spinach leaves until soft.
- Now sprinkle the salmon with chili powder, spices and salt and drizzle with little olive oil and continue to roast for another 1-2 minutes.
- Then take it out and coat with cooked spinach leaves, lime juice, fresh cilantro and remaining olive oil.
- Serve hot.
