Sprouts Dhokla

The delicious Sprout dhoklas are a must-try and are good in nutritional content. The dhokla is fortified with some greens that have a tempting and nice flavour.
Nutritional benefits
Spinach is a great source of Vitamin A, magnesium, and iron that helps in blood clotting and promotes immune function. Moong dal is a package of nutrients that has high antioxidant levels. It is rich in fibre, magnesium and helps in lowering cholesterol levels. It also contains a good amount of iron that improves blood circulation and prevents anemia. Sesame seeds are a great source of fibre, therefore, help in constipation, lowering cholesterol, and reducing heart risks.
Ingredients:
- 1 green chilli
- 20 grams finely chopped spinach
- 10 grams sprouted green moong
- 1 teaspoon besan
- ½ teaspoon fruit salt
- ½ teaspoon sesame seed
- A pinch of hing
- 1 teaspoon oil
- 1-2 curry leaves
- Salt to taste

Method:
- Wash the green moong and soak overnight.
- In the morning, add in the sprouted moong, besan in a blender with some water to make a smooth paste.
- Add the moong mixture, along with spinach, curry leaves, sesame seed, green chili, asafetida, salt, and oil.
- Blend all the ingredients and then add in the fruit salt and some water without the formation of bubbles.
- Pour in a greased plate and spread the mixture.
- Allow it to steam in the steamer for about 10-15 minutes
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve immediately with green chutney.
