Lemony Glazed Salmon

Salmon is one dish that is enjoyed by most people. Salmon marinated with lime juice is one recipe with a twist to ordinary salmon. It is made in a special way to provide you with amazing taste and ample benefits.

Nutritional Benefits:

Salmon is well known for having heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3s help prevent the build-up of plaque in your arteries, which in turn improves blood flow throughout the body.

Ingredients:

  • 50 grams salmon fillet
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon chopped cilantro

Method:

  • Firstly, preheat the oven and arrange the rack such that the salmon, when placed, will be 2 to 3 inches below the heat source.
  • Then, line a baking sheet with foil and lay salmon on the foil. Roast it until the salmon is starting to brown for 5-8 minutes.
  • Now sprinkle the salmon with chili powder, spices and salt and drizzle with little olive oil and continue to broil for another 1-2 minutes.
  • Then take it out and coat with lime juice, fresh cilantro and remaining olive oil.
  • Serve hot.
