Dry Cauliflower 65 is a delectable and healthy snack that transforms cauliflower florets into a crispy, spiced delight. Coated in a flavorful mix of spices and baked to perfection, this dish makes for a great snack or side dish that’s both satisfying and nutritious.

For a Serving Size of Two:

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams cauliflower florets
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon rice flour

Procedure:

  • Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • Wash and cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets. In a large bowl, combine ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, paprika, salt, and lemon juice. Mix well.
  • Add the cauliflower florets to the bowl and toss well to coat them evenly with the spice mixture.
  • Sprinkle rice flour over the cauliflower and mix again to ensure an even coating.
  • Spread the coated cauliflower florets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a non-stick baking mat. Drizzle or brush with olive oil.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cauliflower is tender and crispy, turning once halfway through for even cooking.
  • Allow the cauliflower to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy as a crunchy, healthy snack or side dish.

Nutritional Benefits:

  • This recipe highlights cauliflower’s health benefits, including its high fiber content and essential vitamins like C and K. The use of olive oil adds healthy fats, while spices such as turmeric and cumin offer anti-inflammatory properties. Lemon juice provides an extra dose of vitamin C, and rice flour helps achieve a crispy texture without deep-frying. Baking rather than frying keeps the dish lower in calories and healthier overall.
