Crunchy perfection in every bite! Air Fried Apple Chips – the guilt-free snack that tastes like a crisp day.
INGREDIENTS
• 2 Fresh red apples (small), cored and, if desired, peeled
• ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
• ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
• ¼ teaspoon ground cardamom
• Cooking spray
METHOD
Set an air fryer to bake at 300°F.
Slice apples horizontally into 1/4-inch-thick rings with a mandoline or knife.
In a small bowl, mix together cardamom, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Spread
some cooking spray on the apple rings and transfer them to a big bowl. To
coat, add the spice mixture and toss thoroughly.
Place the apples in the air fryer basket in a single layer, working in batches
if needed (don’t overlap the slices). Cook for approximately an hour,
shaking the basket once, or until the rings are almost crisp (they will crisp
up completely as they cool).
