Quinoa Wrap

Quinoa wrap is an easy to make and amazing to taste recipe to try upon. This roll is super-healthy made with the stuffing of quinoa and veggies to make it a more palatable and delicious snack for you.

Nutritional Benefits:
Quinoa is a multi-beneficial grain which is a rich source of protein as well as fiber. It is also a fair source of magnesium, potassium and B vitamins. Oats are rich in dietary fiber which helps in better digestion and also they provide you with energy.

Ingredients:

  • 10 grams oats flour
  • 10 grams whole wheat flour
  • 10 grams quinoa
  • 10 grams onion
  • 10 grams tomato
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • 1-2 green chilies
  • ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • ¼ teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil

Method:

  • Combine Oats flour, whole wheat flour and knead the soft dough using water.
  • Cover and keep this aside for ten to fifteen minutes.
  • Meanwhile, Bring quinoa to boil until the water has been absorbed to half.
  • Then heat oil in a pan and add garlic, onion and cook until they turn brown in color.
  • Now, add tomato followed by cooked quinoa and spices. Mix well and put it aside.
  • Roll the dough into a round roti using a little wheat flour
  • Heat a tawa over moderate flame and place roti over it.
  • When small bubbles start forming, turn it over, and cook it from the other side.
  • Press the edges with a spatula so that edges are also cooked well.
  • Cook it evenly from both sides. When cooked, with the help of a spoon apply the mixture on the chapati and twist it to form a wrap.
  • Serve hot.
