Chicken Kadhi

Chicken Kadhi is a dish which is a comforting curry made with chicken that is cooked along with besan and yogurt. It is a one of the favorite South Indian dish that is perfect for summers as well as winters.

Chicken is by far a great source of protein that is good for muscle growth and development. The amino acid, tryptophan in chicken boosts the serotonin levels of brain and provides a comforting food.
INGREDIENTS:
- 10 grams curd
- 15 grams grams flour (besan)
- 30 grams chicken
- 20 grams onion
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
- 2-3 green chili
- ½ inch ginger
- 1 sprig curry leaves
- ½ teaspoon cumin seeds (Jeera)
- 1 teaspoon oil

Method:
- Firstly, heat oil in a pan, add chicken along with ginger garlic paste, curry leaves and spices and let it pressure cook.
- In another bowl, add besan, water and mix it well followed by curd, salt (to taste) and mix again.
- Take a pan and sauté onions, turmeric and green chilies. Then add curd in this mixture and boil for 2 minutes.
- Now add chicken pieces and cook for 5-10 minutes.
- Serve and enjoy.
