Turmeric Tea

Turmeric Tea is a warm, golden beverage packed with potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. This soothing tea combines the earthy flavors of turmeric and ginger with the refreshing tang of lemon.

For a Serving Size of Two:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder (or 1-inch fresh turmeric root, grated)
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Procedure:

  1. In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Add turmeric powder (or grated turmeric root), grated ginger, and black pepper to the boiling water. Simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Strain the tea into cups to remove the turmeric and ginger pieces.
  4. Stir in lemon juice. Enjoy the tea warm for its soothing and anti-inflammatory benefits.
