Moringa Rice for Postpartum Care

Ingredients

  • Moringa leaves- Half cup
  • Boiled rice ( preferably Brown rice ) – one cup
  • Shallots- 10
  • Garlic- 5 cloves
  • Jeera – half teaspoon
  • Methi seeds – one teaspoon
  • Rock salt -qs
  • Turmeric powder-qs
  • Curry leaves-qs
  • Ghee- 2 teaspoon

Method

  • To one pan/Kadai add 2 teaspoons of ghee, Jeera, methi seeds and curry leaves
  • Stir well
  • Add chopped shallots and garlic
  • Now add rock salt and turmeric powder
  • Saute it for few minutes
  • Add moringa leaves and cover it with a lid and cook for 5 minutes
  • Stir in between
  • Now add cooked rice to this and mix well
  • Cover the pan with a lid and keep it for 5 minutes.
  • Serve hot.
