Roasted Sesame Carrots

Roasted sesame carrots make for a crunchy flavoursome snack, which are ready in just a toss.

Nutritional Benefits:

Carrot has vitamin A, K and beta carotene which helps build bone strength. Sesame seeds are considered as a good source of calcium & dietary protein, with high-quality amino acids making up 20% of the seed. 

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 carrots 
  • 1 tbsp sesame
  • 1 tsp olive oil 
  • 1 tsp honey
  • Black pepper
  • Salt to taste

Calories: 87  kcal Protein: 2 grams
Carbohydrates: 11 grams Fats: 4 grams

 

Method:

  • Add thickly sliced carrots with the rest of the ingredients in a bowl and toss.
  • Then bake them on a baking tray and serve crisp.
