Sprout & Veggie Salad

This Sprout & Veggie Salad is a refreshing and nutrient-dense salad, perfect for a light meal or a side dish. The crunch of fresh vegetables combined with the protein-rich sprouts creates a satisfying texture and flavor. With the subtle heat of cumin and the brightness of lemon juice, this salad is both delicious and easy to prepare.
For a Serving Size of Two:
Ingredients:
- 100 grams cooked mixed sprouts (moong, black chana, or any preferred mix)
- 50 grams finely chopped cucumber
- 50 grams finely chopped tomatoes
- 30 grams finely chopped carrots
- 20 grams finely chopped bell pepper
- 15 grams finely chopped red onion
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped coriander leaves
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Procedure:
- In a large bowl, mix together the sprouts, cucumber, tomatoes, carrots, bell pepper, and red onion.
- Add coriander leaves, lemon juice, roasted cumin powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to coat the vegetables and sprouts evenly.
- Let the salad sit for a few minutes for the flavors to blend, then enjoy as a snack or side.
