Frosty Basil Lemonade

Lemonade is a cool, refreshing drink that you can relish at any time during the day. You can also have it during the times when you are caught up in the super-hot weather plus the fresh strawberries into it will leave your mouth watering with delicious flavor.

Lemon is an excellent source of ascorbic acid i.e. Vitamin C. Vitamin C nourishes your skin and hair and further helps in the absorption of iron. Basil is a multipurpose traditional herb that is used in treating ailments ranging from cold, cough to chronic diseases such as diabetes.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Lemon
  • 5-6 fresh basil leaves
  • 10 grams banana
  • Water as required

Method:

  • In a blender, put the lemon juice, banana, basil and water, and blend.
  • Transfer into a glass and serve along with crushed ice.
