Quinoa Amaranth Dosa

Quinoa Amaranth dosa recipe, is the Indian crepe made with quinoa and black gram , along with amaranth leaves is one of the delicious way of giving the regular dosa a twist. This recipe is a super food because of its high protein content.

Quinoa is a good source of protein, fibre, iron, copper and vitamin B6 which helps to aid various health benefits. Amaranth leaves are a powerhouse of many phytonutrients, antioxidants, minerals and vitamins.
Ingredients:
- 15 grams quinoa
- 10 grams rice
- 10 grams urad dal
- 1 teaspoon amaranth leaves
- 1 teaspoon Oil
- Salt to taste

Method:
- Soak dal with quinoa for up to 4 hours.
- After soaking, drain the extra water and add the mixture in a blender jar. Add in amaranth leaves in the mixture and blend the mixture using a little water to make the batter of dosa, set aside
- Heat a non-stick pan on medium flame and smear it with a little oil. Using a ladle, spread the batter in the pan in a circular motion , and cook for a minute. Flip the other side and smear again with a little oil. Once the dosa is cooked to a brownish hue, transfer to a plate and serve hot.
