Banana Walnut Pancakes

These fluffy banana oat pancakes are a delicious and healthy breakfast choice. Made with mashed bananas, whole wheat flour, and oats flour, they are both nutritious and filling. The batter is cooked on a non-stick tawa with a touch of ghee to achieve a golden brown colour and crisp texture. Enjoy these pancakes warm with your favourite toppings for a satisfying start to your day.

For a Serving Size of Two:

Ingredients:

  • 150 grams (3 medium sized) mashed bananas
  • 15 grams chopped walnuts
  • 30 grams whole wheat flour 
  • 30 grams oats flour
  • 2 tablespoons wheat bran
  • 75 ml almond milk 
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 tablespoon ghee 

Procedure:

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and mix well.
  2. Add ½ cup of water and whisk well till no lumps remain.
  3. Heat a non stick tawa, pour  a portion of the batter into a 100mm(4″) diameter thick circle.
  4. Put ½ tsp ghee on the edges and cook each pancake on a medium flame till they turn golden brown in colour on both the sides.
  5. Repeat steps 3, 4 to make 5 more pancakes.
