Change in season and nutrition are closely interrelated; any changes in the season can directly affect the availability of food and nutritional needs. The changing seasons provide a good opportunity to make changes to our eating habits. Hence, eating right in terms of the seasons is what nature demands. In the end, everything depends on our eating pattern in different seasons as our energy, and wellness. One should not give up on our intake of carbs, proteins and fat all year around. Perhaps, they should be eaten in specific ratios at different times of the year.

- Don’t deprive yourself from Protein – Proteins are the building blocks of the body. For a person, about 12-20% of daily calories should come from proteins, so include protein rich foods such as chicken, eggs, pulses and legumes, yogurt, almonds etc. to get the sufficient amounts of proteins.
