Almond Milk Thandai: A refreshing and wonderful drink made of protein-rich seeds and spices, Almond milk thandai is a very good option for serving. Almonds help in lowering the blood sugar level, reduce blood pressure and are rich in calcium. Thandai helps in soothing your body and keeps you energetic.
Method: To make this refreshing drink you need to get one teaspoon of almonds, cashews, pistachios, pumpkin seeds/ melon seeds, fennel seeds and a pinch of cardamom powder, coconut sugar, cinnamon, black pepper, saffron strands, poppy seeds. Blend them all and mix it in almond milk. You can keep the drink overnight in the fridge and serve it chilled in the morning after garnishing it with cashews or saffron.
Kanji Vada: Kanji Vada is a popular drink from Rajasthan and Gujarat, containing moong dal vadas immersed in tangy mustard flavoured called Kanji. Kanji vada aids digestion and being tangy is a good option after you have had many sweets. Kanji Vada improves appetite and is a really good and fulfilling drink to serve.
To make Kanji that is the water, take a container to add water and add (as needed) asafetida, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, yellow mustard, salt, black, salt and mix well.
To make Vada take the soaked grams of moong daal, add salt and beat them to make a paste and then make balls out of it, fry the balls in the oil and your Vadas are ready. Soak the made Vadas in water and then put 2-3 in each glass and pour kanji, your drink is now ready to be served.
Avocado Lassi: Lassi is loved by everybody, so why not add a twist in it and make it all the more healthy and refreshing. Avocado is said to be extremely nutritious, rich in fibre, can lower the level of cholesterol and triglyceride levels. Lassi is made from yoghurt which is rich in protein and calcium. A drink like this is a must-have and not to miss it.
To make this drink (1 glass) you need 1 avocado, a cup of yoghurt, 3 tablespoons of honey, 1 teaspoon of lime juice, 1 cup milk, some nuts like cashews, pistachios and also a pinch of salt. Mix them well except the nuts and after garnish the drink with nuts.
Moringa iced tea: Moringa contains medicinal properties and health benefits and it also has antifungal, antiviral, antidepressant and anti-inflammatory properties in it. Moringa also helps in keeping the skin beautiful and gives out a lot of energy. To make a drink out of such a healthy ingredient you need dried moringa leaves, lemon, honey, ginger, water, take leaves and add water to them and stir them for about 5 minutes, after that add the leftovers, stir them for some more time and sieve the leaves and add ice cubes, you are good to go.
Wood apple (Bel) sorbet: Making the digestion process easy, wood apple helps in maintaining a good stomach. It is also said to be a good remedy for constipation. To prepare the sorbet you need to get ripe bel fruits, remove the pulp and mash them add sugar or jaggery in the mixture as needed. Mix the mixture with water and your drink is ready.
