People with diabetes are recommended to cut-off on sugar and eat a healthy and balanced diet. Also, it is often believed that fruits consumed by diabetic patients can raise their blood sugar levels, but it is completely a myth! Fruits are a power pack of a variety of nutrients and are a very healthy way to satisfy your hunger pangs. - Guavas – Guavas are high in Vitamin A, C and dietary fiber. This fruit has a fairly low GI making it a part of a diabetics’ must have fruit plate. Also, it is mostly advised to eat it without skin which reduces sugar absorption in the blood.
