Spiced Greeny Salad

Spiced Greeny Salad is an amazing salad made with green vegetables with spicy pepper and lime dressing. It also offers you with amazing health benefits by filling you up with nutrients like fiber and Vitamin C.

Nutritional Benefits

Cauliflower is a very light vegetable which is high in fiber. It also contain vitamins and minerals like folate, Vitamin C and Vitamin K. Kale has plenty of vitamins A, K, B6, and C, calcium, potassium, copper, and manganese and promote overall health.

Ingredients

  • 20 grams cauliflower
  • 20 grams kale
  • 50 grams spinach (partially boiled)
  • 20 grams cucumber
  • 5 grams feta cheese
  • 5 grams olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 10 grams low fat greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • Spring of coriander leaves
  • Salt and pepper as per taste

  • Protein- 3.1 grams
  • Carbohydrates- 5.3 grams
  • Fat- 6.8 grams

Method:

  • Take a large salad bowl and add all the chopped vegetables.
  • Make the salad dressing by whisking together the olive oil, Greek yoghurt, oregano, lime juice, cumin powder, salt and black pepper.
  • Pour the dressing over the salad. Then add grated feta cheese and toss well before serving.
