Caramelized Apple


The humble caramelized apples are a wonderful delicacy cooked with coconut sugar and cinnamon. This is a perfect dessert for all those who have a sweet tooth. This recipe is made within minutes and is loved by all.

Apple is highly nutritious that lowers the risk of diabetes and promotes weight loss.They are a good source of fiber, polyphenols that provide numerous health benefits. Coconut sugar contains healthy fats that help in preventing heart diseases. The caramelization of apple provides a crunchy and unique flavour liked by all.




  • 50 grams apple
  • 1 teaspoon ghee
  • 5 grams of coconut sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
  • ½ teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 5 grams of mixed nuts

Fat: 6 grams

Carbohydrate: 7.7 grams

Protein: 0.81 grams




  • Start by cutting the apples into long pieces.
  • Heat some ghee in a skillet, add in the coconut sugar and cook for about 2-3 minutes till the sugar melts completely.
  • Then add the apple to the skillet and cook it while mixing with the sugar.
  • Take a plate, add in the apples and sprinkle in some cardamom powder and cinnamon powder.
  • Serve immediately by topping with chopped nuts.


Over to you: 


This dessert can be topped with nuts for an extra crunch and must be eaten fresh so that it does not lose its consistency.
