No Sugar Nutty Squares are deliciously crunchy, nutrient-packed snacks made from a blend of toasted almonds, walnuts, cashews, pistachios, and dates, naturally sweetened without added sugar. These squares are perfect for a quick energy boost and are a satisfying, guilt-free treat.
For a Serving Size of Two:
Ingredients:
- 15 grams almonds
- 15 grams walnuts
- 10 grams cashews
- 10 grams pistachios
- 15 grams desiccated coconut
- 20 grams dates (pitted and soaked in warm water for 10 minutes)
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
- A pinch of salt
Procedure:
- Lightly toast the almonds, walnuts, cashews, and pistachios in a pan over medium heat for about 3-5 minutes until fragrant.
Allow them to cool slightly. - In a food processor, blend the soaked dates until they form a smooth paste.
- Add the toasted nuts, desiccated coconut, and a pinch of salt. Blend until everything is well combined and forms a sticky dough-like consistency.
- If the mixture is too dry, add the coconut oil to help bind it together.
- Transfer the mixture into a small square pan lined with parchment paper. Press it down firmly to create an even layer.
- Refrigerate for about 30-45 minutes until the mixture hardens.
Cut and Serve: - Once firm, cut the mixture into small squares and serve.
