No Bake Oat Bites

No bake Oats bites are packed with a bundle of nutrients which are essential for your body. These cookies are a perfect combination to go along with your tea/coffee.

The main ingredient of this recipe which is oats are rich in carbohydrate and fiber content thereby helps in better digestion and keeps you full for a long period of time. Cranberries are rich in antioxidants and vitamin c content. Flax seeds are rich in dietary fiber and omega -3 which are said to lower blood pressure, improves cholesterol and also promotes better digestion.
Ingredients
- 20 grams of rolled oats
- 5 grams dried cranberries
- 1 teaspoon ground flax seeds
- 2 small dates
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon powder
- 1 teaspoon unsalted butter
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- Salt to taste

Method
- Take a pan and dryroast the oats over low heat until just browned around the edges for about 1 to 2 minutes and remove from the heat and set aside.
- Meanwhile in another bowl, combine the flaxseed with warm water and set aside to thicken for about 5 minutes.
- Then add butter, dates, coconut oil, vanilla extract, cinnamon powder and salt into the blender and blend.
- Then add the flaxseed mixture and blend until smooth.
- Then add the oats and mix well. Also add dried cranberries and incorporate them well into the batter.
- Roll the Batter into cookie shaped balls and chill until firm for at least 30 minutes.
- Then store in an air-tight container and relish them.
