Flaxseed Garlicky Dip

Flaxseed Garlicky Dip is an amazing recipe which emanates strong flavours and aromas. Made with roasted flax seeds, this dip recipe is quite easy-to-make and hence, can be set in a blink of an eye.

Flax seeds are an excellent source of omega 3 fatty acids and antioxidants especially lignans which result in reducing the risk of cancer. It is also a good source of both soluble and insoluble fibre which improves satiety and maintains overall health.
Ingredients:
- 10 grams flax seeds
- 1 teaspoon mustard oil
- 1 cup water
- salt as required
- ½ teaspoon lemon juice
- 2-3 garlic cloves
- 2 green chilli

Method:
- Take a pan and dry roast flax seeds over medium flame in a pan for 6-8 minutes until coloured. When done, allow it to cool for some time.
- Transfer the roasted seeds to a mixer and add garlic cloves, water and green chilies. Grind the ingredients to smooth and fine paste and transfer to a bowl.
- Now add lemon juice, mustard oil and salt to the bowl. Mix well to amalgamate the ingredients well. Chutney is ready. Serve and enjoy.
