Crustless Quiche

Try this crustless quiche full of veggies and is low in carbohydrates. Various vegetables of choice can be added in it to make it more delicious. It it quite simple to prepare and is extremely healthy.

Nutritional Benefits:
Spinach is by far the healthiest green vegetable to be added in a dish providing great amounts of Vitamin A, folic acid, nitrates which helps reducing blood pressure levels, good for eye health and fiber helps in constipation. Mushrooms have no fat and have very low carbohydrates, therefore good for health. A variety of vegetables are added to enhance the nutritional value.

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon ghee
  • 10 grams mushroom
  • 10 grams onion
  • 20 grams spinach
  • Kosher salt as per taste
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 egg white
  • 20ml milk
  • 10 grams tomato

Method:

  • Take a medium sized skillet and melt the ghee.
  • Preheat the oven to 190 degree celsuis.
  • Add in the mushrooms in the skillet and let them cook for about 5-7 minutes. Then add in the onion and cook for a minute or two.
  • Add in the washed spinach and season with salt and pepper and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  • Remove from heat.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk the egg along with milk and tomatoes properly. Then add in the mushrrom mixture and season with salt and pepper as per taste.
  • Pour the mixture in a dish and bake for about 20 minutes.
  • After removing from over, cool it off and cut into slices.
  • Serve with your favourite side dressing!
