Iced Jaljeera Recipe

Summer calls for refreshing and healthy drinks. Jaljeera is one of the cool drinks for hot summers filled with rich nutrients and low on calories.

Tamarind is rich in magnesium and also a good source of calcium. Tarmarind is great for gut and heart health. It also has antimicrobial properties to treat illnesses like Malaria.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 Tbsp. Tamarind Pulp
  • 4-5 Mint Leaves
  • ½ Tsp. Grounded Cumin
  • 1 Tsp. Jaggery
  • 1 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
  • ½ Tsp Grated Ginger
  • Pinch of Chilli Powder
  • Pinch of Garam masala
  • Black Salt as per taste
  • 150 ml water

Method

  • Add all the ingredients together in the food processor and blend them.
  • Keep the drink to chill overnight in refrigerator. Then strain and it’s ready to be served.
