Spiced Apple Green Tea

Apple green tea is an aromatic tea that gives calmness to the body. Green tea is great for metabolism and the digestive system. It helps in balancing the hormones and has a tasty calming twist of apple spice in this recipe.

Nutritional benefits:

Green tea is full of antioxidants and helps in improving brain function along with fat reduction. Ginger is known to have various medicinal properties as it reduces muscle soreness and pain that helps in arthritis. It is anti-inflammatory and helps in the immunity system. Apples are a good source of fiber, polyphenols that provide numerous health benefits.
The ingredients in this tea help in treating flatulence.

Ingredients:

  • 1-2 cups of water
  • 1 teaspoon coconut sugar
  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon cloves
  • 10 grams apple( seeded and coarsely chopped)
  • 10 grams loose green tea

Method:

  • Start by boiling water in a pan.
  • Then add in the loose tea leaf and let it boil for 10 minutes to steep in the water. Add in the clove and ginger and allow boiling for 2-3 minutes more.
  • Then strain and pour the tea into a glass.
  • Add in some coconut sugar, nutmeg, and apple slices and serve
