Mexican Coffee

Mexican Coffee is a rich and aromatic beverage that infuses traditional coffee with the warm, comforting spices of cocoa, cinnamon, and nutmeg. The addition of milk creates a creamy texture, making each sip a delightful and indulgent experience.

For a Serving Size of Two:

Ingredients:

  • 500 ml brewed coffee
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 120 ml milk
  • Ground cinnamon for garnish

Procedure:

  • Brew 2 cups of your favorite coffee using your preferred method (drip coffee maker, French press, etc.).
  • In a small bowl, mix the cocoa powder, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg.
  • Stir the spice mixture into the brewed coffee while it is still hot.
  • If using milk, heat it separately until warm, either in a microwave or on the stovetop. Froth the milk if desired.
  • Pour the spiced coffee into cups. If using milk, add it to the coffee. Stir gently to combine.
  • Top with  a sprinkle of ground cinnamon if desired.
