Apple Honey Pancake

Pancakes are breakfast jam. Apple honey pancakes is a no fuss dessert pancake for kids and adults with semi-sweet yet with the sweetness of apple and honey.

Nutritional Benefits:
Apples are a popular fruit, containing antioxidants, vitamins, dietary fibre and a range of other nutrients.

Ingredients:

  • 30ml apple juice
  • 20 grams apple – cored and mushed
  • 10 grams all-purpose flour
  • 50 grams eggs
  • 5 grams baking powder
  • 2.5 grams honey
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  • In a medium bowl stir together flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda. Make a well in the centre of the flour mixture; set aside.
  • In a small bowl stir together egg, apple juice, honey, and oil. Add egg mixture all at once to flour mixture; stir just until combined, but still slightly lumpy.
  • Lightly coat a non-stick pan. Heat over medium heat. For each pancake, pour about 1/4 cup of the batter onto the hot skillet
  • Cook until pancakes have bubbly surfaces and edges are slightly dry. Turn pancakes; cook until golden brown.

This dessert can be served for a weekend breakfast or brunch and double the feat for the weekend.
