4 Delicious Winter Holiday Recipes for Kids

When kids have time off from school in the winter, they love the break—but then after a day or so, they often complain of boredom and demands for something delicious to eat. Isn’t it?

This winter holiday season, why not try something different that is tasty and mouth-watering too at the same time. After all, we have to keep the kids’ taste buds entertained with scrumptious recipes. So, read below to try these recipes:

  • Fruity punch juice: This beverage is loaded with vitamin C to balance out all those low-in-nutrient desserts, this colourful, fruity punch is perfect for both young and old alike. This non-alcoholic fruity punch juice has apple cider in the base, sparkling blood orange juice, and sparkling grape juice, and is brightened up with fresh orange and cranberry. Kids will love how colourful it is, and the rainbow of fruits within. Serve in glasses along with a straw, garnished with a slice of orange.
  • Tasty tacos: Give taco night a seasonal twist with these delicious tasty tacos. The meat is slow-cooked short ribs seasoned with pomegranate juice, chillies, and cinnamon. The kids can help you seed pomegranate for the fresh fruits and gather all the toppings. They’ll also enjoy building the tacos in tortillas with cheese and cream to make it look like a snowfall.
  • Toad in the hole-Eggy basket: Once you make this delicious recipe for your kids they are definitely going to ask for more the next day. For a tummy-warming treat this winter, cook up this surprisingly quick and easy breakfast that also provides loads of protein and minerals that busy kids need. Start by cutting the bread pieces in the desired shape like a heart or an oval. Then, heat a frying pan with butter and place the bread. Break only 1 egg into the hole of the bread. Cook both sides, until golden brown. Now, serve it with love and sprinkle salt and pepper in the end.
  • Chocolate pudding pie: Chocolate pudding pie is a great recipe to make as it requires very little work on your part and makes a wonderful and decadent dessert that is as fun as it is delicious as it sounds. You need to gather all the ingredients like butter, cracker crumbs, milk, chocolate, cream, brown sugar, raspberries, and chocolate. To make the crust, melt butter for 1 minute and mix it with cracker crumbs until moistened. Press the mixture on a pie plate and let it freeze for good 10 minutes. Now, mix chocolate and milk and pour it on the crust, smoothening out the top. Let it freeze for 1 hour. Whip out cream and brown sugar using an electric mixer and place it on the top. In the end, garnish chocolate pudding pie with fresh raspberries and shaved chocolate, if desired. Serve and enjoy!
