Spinach and mint juice

This juice is a perfect blend of flavour,nutrients and satiety. It is rich in iron,folate,potassium etc.Mint adds the flavour making the juice tempting for everyone. It is good especially for weight watchers,sports persons as a refreshment. It can also be had by people across all age groups during the day as a mid-meal snack.

 

Ingredients:

  1. 4 cups- roughly chopped spinach
  2. 1 cup-finely chopped mint leaves
  3. ½ cup- roughly chopped coriander
  4. 1 tbsp lemon juice
  5. 1 tsp jaljeera powder(optional)

Method:

  1. Combine the spinach,mint leaves and coriander along with ½ cup of water in a juicer and blend till smooth.
  2. Do not strain the juice.The remaining leaves will be used as garnish.
  3. Add lemon juice and jaljeera powder.
  4. Serve immediately.
