The spiritual air of Navratri is the perfect time to fast and to detox the mind, body and soul. Healthy and nutritious drinks not only calm your stomach and hunger pangs but also provide you with energy and keeps you away from any health complications. To make your fasting more nutritious and healthy, here are some easy to make nutritious drinks at home that will definitely help in keeping your body alkaline, cleanse out the toxins from your body while making you all cool and energetic. 

The ABC (amla, beetroot, carrot) blend:

This heavenly combination of healthy and juicy amla, beetroot and carrot is so refreshing and one of the best vegetable juice of all time. You can add lemon juice for a favourable taste. Mix all the key ingredients by adding 1½ cup of water and add rock salt and black pepper powder according to your taste. This juice also maintains blood pressure level. 

Mango lassi: 

This rich and sweet mango lassi is made with mango, yoghurt, jaggery and a dash of cardamom. You can make this restaurant-style drink at home and enjoy your Navratri fast to the fullest. Just make sure that your mangoes are completely ripe to get a more fruitful flavour. Add all the ingredients, grind it well and serve fresh to get maximum nutrients. 

Papaya muskmelon juice:

A glass of papaya muskmelon can provide enough energy to start off your vrat. It is filled with the goodness of nutrients. We strongly suggest you to use ripe papaya to get a more sweet and juicy taste. You can also add lemon for balancing the flavour of the drink. 

Mint and jeera Buttermilk:

A refreshing and healthy chaas is made mainly from curd and pudina. To make this cool mint and jeera chaas all you need to do is grind fresh mint leaves with a minimum amount of water. Further, add curd in a bowl and whisk it well, now add the mint paste with jeera powder and mix it. Next, add rock salt. Your fresh and chilled mint jeera buttermilk is ready to serve. 

Celery, cucumber and mint Juice: 

The cooling taste of cucumber is savoured by everybody. In this juice, we have added celery, mint, ginger and cucumber to make it a perfect and delicious combination of varied nutrients. Grind all the ingredients with 1½ cup of water. Next, add rock salt and lemon for a favourable taste. Serve fresh to get the maximum amount of nutrients.
