Yet another post from the fitness icon, Shilpa Shetty and we all feel motivated to do yoga. Shilpa Shetty is a celebrity who believes her body to be a temple and practices good lifestyle habits for overall health. She is one of the most dedicated actresses when it comes to yoga. She is so much into her lifestyle and fitness that we surely get some inspiration, by seeing all her posts. She recently posted a video on her Instagram handle to motivate her followers to practice yet another and different Yogasana. This is what she has to say:
The body always needs a little bit of a push to follow a routine when it has worked without much of a break. Feeling sluggish or lazy may feel natural, but never give in to your body’s demands completely. Give it enough rest, but don’t let it become inactive. So, today I spent a few minutes practicing the Viparita Naukasana. It may not look like a very heavy routine, but it is a power-packed one.
Yoga consists of a series of movements that help gain flexibility both physically and mentally. It strengthens our bones, rejuvenates our cells, and promotes healthy aging. Yoga has a lot of different asanas to focus on different body parts, one such asana is Viparita Naukasana. It involves arms, and legs, and also engages the core and back muscles.
Benefits Of Viparita Naukasana:
- It helps strengthen the lower back and pelvic region
- It helps strengthen the shoulders, arms, and hips.
- It improves the flexibility of the spine.
- It massages abdominal organs.
- It reduces fatigue and constipation and improves digestion.
- It calms the brain and gives peace of mind.
- It increases blood flow.
Doing something or the other each and every day is important. Whether it’s just a walk or simple stretching. A movement will increase the blood flow, and make the body function better. And yoga is like a treat for the body. It massages and stretches all the muscles, joints, and bones. Practicing Yogasana for a few minutes will help you become more flexible and increase your quality and quantity of life. Viparita Naukasana is great for the lower back and abdomen. But it should be avoided by pregnant women and people who have got abdominal surgery done.
Over To You:
I’m sure Shilpa Shetty has motivated you to look after your lower back now. Practice Viparita Naukasana and see how your body thanks you!
