What is passion?
A spark that ignites you to do something you love!
Why is it important to have passion?
It is very important for all of us to have passion, as it drives us to where we want to be in life. There are many reasons why one should have a spark, and why we all hear about ‘follow your passion’. Following your passion can help you in finding your purpose.
Passion does not only here indicate about relationships. Passion here talks about anything that gives you joy, clarity and brings you a sense of belonging. Anything that adds pressure to you, or stresses you out will never be passionate for you.
How can I be a passionate person?
Understanding who you really are, and what you are good at.
- At the end of every day, take 5 minutes by yourself and write down things that you are good at, that bring you joy, and try to be consistent at it.
- Your hobbies that you wanted to pursue but didn’t. Maybe now is the time to re-think and try them out as well.
- See what really works for you and what doesn’t.
- Learn new things.
There is a fine line between being passionate and being a narcissist.
Being passionate is about giving. Giving the world what you know and learning from it in return. But a narcissist would say, “I know everything, I am good at everything and I don’t need anything”. That’s not said to being passionate, that’s being self-centred.
You can’t always go with the flow, because there are certain things that are core elements and passion is one of them.
Being passionate is really important. It ignites your first and then makes you who you want to be. So, follow that thing that makes you really happy and if you can’t decide what is it that you are really passionate about, follow the above tips.
