Meaning and significance of the Chakra
Swadhishthana Chakra is also known as the sacral chakra and is one of the important chakra in the seven primary chakras according to the Hinduism. The word ‘Swadhishthana’ is originated from two Sanskrit words, ‘Swa’ and ‘Adhisthana’ where Swa means ‘one’s own’ and Adhisthana means ‘abode or seat’.

The second chakra, sacral chakra, is associated with all things emotional and creativity. It is our passion and pleasure centre and helps govern our senses, intimacy and connection. A healthy second chakra always aids control and balance in one’s life. An imbalance sacral chakra can lead to disturbances, commitment issues, stifled creativity, and urinary or reproductive issues, lack of drive, lack of confidence, depression, and back pain.
