The seventh chakra or the crown chakra represents truth, spirituality and self-realization. This highest form of chakra opens up spiritual communication completely with the universe. It radiates energy dedicated to trust, peace, faith, wisdom and gratitude for ourselves. An imbalanced crown chakra may bring a feeling of insignificance, confusion and disconnection or can cause disorders of the nervous system, depression, and sensitivity to light.
Foods to feed it with: Meditation and yoga is a good way to strengthen and heal this chakra. Fasting and detoxifying are said to be healthy for the development of the crown chakra as it awakens to the highest form of spiritual communication. This chakra focuses more on fasting than food. Incense and smudging herbs and essential oils such as like sage, copal, myrrh, juniper and frankincense are helpful.
