- 50 grams eggplant
- 20 grams green onions
- ½ teaspoons sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
- ½ teaspoon olive oil

- Chop the onions finely and cut eggplants crosswise.
- Puree olive oil, chopped green onions, and sesame oil in a blender. Transfer mixture to a small bowl. Stir in sesame seeds; season mixture with pepper.
- Prepare barbecue (medium-high heat). Spread the green onion mixture on each eggplant slice. Place eggplant slices, seasoned side down, on the grill. Brush tops of eggplant slices with green onion mixture. Cook until tender and charred in spots, about 4 minutes per side.
- Transfer to a platter. Garnish with thinly sliced green onions; serve warm or at room temperature.
