Plum Yogurt popsicles

Not a fan of eating fruits? Got bored of fruit salad too? If yes, then this recipe is definitely for you! Plum yogurt popsicles is the perfect solution to sweet cravings. This is a great idea to include yogurt in your morning breakfast.

This brilliant recipe gets a subtle colour of plum which gives it an interesting look and makes it more tempting.

Nutritional Benefits

Plums are the great source of fiber, vitamins and minerals. It is rich in antioxidants, helpful for reducing inflammation and protecting the cells from damage done by free radicals. Polyphenol antioxidants help in maintaining bone health and may reduce the risk of heart disease and diabetes. And, this nutritious dairy product-yogurt is fat-free, contains lot of calcium and helps improve digestion.


  • 150 grams plain yogurt
  • 100 grams fresh plum
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 teaspoon coconut sugar

  • Fill the moulds with yogurt.
  • Add plums, water and sugar in a food processor or grinder; grind until all the ingredients are well blended.
  • Spoon 1.5 tablespoon plum mixture into each cup. Stir gently with a pop stick to popsicles.
  • Top moulds with foil; insert pop sticks through foil. Freeze until firm.

You can add cardamom or try this method with different set of fruits. Lightly sweet and tangy, and popsicles through with tons of fruit, a good homemade frozen fruit yogurt seems to be a perfect and a delightful dessert.
