Harira is a relishing soup with the goodness of chickpeas and chicken served in a bowl.

Nutritional benefits –

Chicken is highly rich in protein and omega -3 fatty acids which helps in building up of muscle mass. It is also rich in selenium, phosphorus, vitamin b6 and niacin. Chickpeas are an amazing source of protein and calcium and also are said to improve digestion within your body.

Ingredients –

  • Chicken breast (150 grams)
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 20 grams onion
  • 20 grams tomato
  • 20 grams of chickpeas
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1 cup of water

Method –

  • Take chicken breast and add mixed turmeric, salt, black pepper, cinnamon, ginger garlic paste, lime juice, and onion.
  • Add tomato puree, the lentils, and 1 cup water to it and let it simmer until it comes to boil.
  • Serve hot garnished with fresh coriander.
