Diabetes is a type of disease that occurs when your blood sugar levels increases from a rapid rate and the levels of it are excessively high. Diabetes is now becoming a very common disease and every third in fourth person is suffering from this disease. When you are suffering from diabetes, your wellness majorly depends upon the food you eat. Your daily diet not only gives you proper nutrition but also helps you in controlling your blood sugar levels while making you satisfied and feel fuller.

Your high blood sugar levels are the result of carbohydrate-rich foods like bread, cereals, rice, pasta, fruits, milk, and desserts. Excessive consumption of such foods can easily make your sugar levels high while giving you various other problems like obesity, fats and cardiovascular diseases.So, to get rid of diabetes properly without causing any harmful effect on your body, health and nutrition there is a certain food that you should focus on.

Chia seeds: Chia seeds are packed with endless benefits and are a great food for people who are suffering from diabetes. They are extremely high in fibre which is beneficial for your overall health and take you away from hunger pangs. Apart from this, it will keep a check on your blood pressure and give you digestible carbs which is essential for the smooth functioning of the body.

Nuts: Nuts are a powerhouse of nutrients. Nuts are the sources of healthy fats, fibre and protein. Adding it to your daily diet will give you omega 3s and other important Vitamins and Minerals with magnesium and Vitamin E. You can daily take a handful of nuts for effective results.

Cinnamon: Cinnamon is a common spice that can easily be found in every kitchen. Various studies have shown that regular consumption of cinnamon during diabetes can easily low down the blood sugar levels. There are many other advantages of cinnamon on the body. It helps in controlling the cholesterol and keeps a check on insulin sensitivity as well.
