Home Remedies to Get your Wedding Glow

Every girl dreams to look flawless on her wedding day and to get that glowing skin on the big day it is very important to follow a proper skincare regime. While you are busy preparing for your make-up, jewellery, dress, heels and photographs, don’t forget to pay heed to your overall glow.

You don’t have to spend on tons of makeup or waste time in parlour for that bridal glow. Just prep-up your skin with these home remedies weeks before your ‘the day’. Believe it, without any last moment glitches these remedies will shine you like nothing else. Here are some simple procedures you can do at home to get that bridal glow!

So to look top-notch, just skip that expensive parlour visits and maintain your last longing beauty with home remedies.

Patch Test: Before starting let us share you a secret with you. Before directly applying anything your face always does a patch test. Apply a thick line of paste on your cheekbone and check the results.

Get that Body Glow

Oil: After taking bath, regularly moisturise your skin with oil. If putting oil is not possible, then add two-three drops of oil (virgin coconut oil, Olive oil) and have a neck down bucket bath with it. Oil not only moisturises the skin but also forms a protective layer & prevents insect bites, rashes and skin issues due to the presence of Vitamin-E content in coconut and olive oil. Daily usage of oil will also reduce tanning.

Note: Coconut oil may not suit every skin type and clog the pores resulting in breakouts.

Besan & Haldi: This pack has medicinal effects of haldi and scrub essence of basin. Mix it well with curd and apply. Turmeric helps you in restoring your natural glow and treat uneven skin tone. Apply it all over your body and keep it for 5 minutes. Wash it with normal to lukewarm water.

Get that Face Glow

Exfoliate: Mix a large pinch of oatmeal, 1 tablespoon fresh cream, 1 crushed almond, and 2 drops of sandalwood oil. Dampen your face with water. Massage this scrub cream gently and rinse off.

Pack: Tomatoes are a very common ingredient found in every second household. They not only add flavour to your dish but also provide surprising beauty benefits! They are perfect to reduce acne, sooth sunburns, shrink large pores and heal rashes. Make a natural face mask, of it. Slice 2 tomatoes and mash them until you’re left with only the pulp. Add a tablespoon of honey to the pulp and stir well. Now, use your fingertips & gently apply the mask to your face and let it rest for 15-20 minutes. Afterwards, wash it off with lukewarm water.

Moisturise:

For Dry skin: Use coconut oil as a moisturiser for dry skin. Coconut oil is safe and effective just like a petroleum jelly for treating dry skin. It significantly improves skin hydration and increase the number of lipids (fats) on the surface of the skin. Coconut oil has emollient properties. An emollient is a fat and acts as a moisturizer by filling in gaps in dry skin, making it smooth.

For oily skin: Take an Aloe Vera leaf; peel off the outer part of the leaf and remove the inside stem that secretes the gel. Extract this gel and make sure you mash it nicely and apply it gently. Allow it to dry for 10-12 minutes and then wash off with warm water.

For combination skin: Use glycerine to moisturize combination skin naturally. Mix one part glycerine to four parts distilled water and use your fingertips to massage it into the skin.
