Guru Purnima holds the auspiciousness and religious significance in Hindu mythology. The day is generally celebrated on the day of full moon in the month of Ashadha according to the Hindu Lunar Calendar. Guru purnima is celebrated to worship teachers, gurus or mentors who have taught the life learning lessons.
